Janice Cosby Adams, APR, is an accomplished author, marketing, public relations, and communications professional and speaker. For over 30 years, Jan has led healthcare teams focused on brand development. In 2008, she served as Chief Marketing and Communications Officer for Ascension Michigan, overseeing the strategic plan for Ascension's Michigan-based hospitals and centers. Later, her expertise led to a national role- Vice President of Foundation Marketing - supporting the company's philanthropic and foundation teams.
Janice's leadership and mentorship endeavors have earned her numerous awards and honors, including Notable Marketer Award (Crain's Detroit Business) and the Community Mentoring Award (Results Mentoring) for mentoring over 100 women throughout her career.
Featured in national and local magazines, she is the winner of Essence magazine's Ageless Beauty contest in the 50 - 60 age category and of MORE magazine's Beauty contest. Both included featured articles. She was also selected Best Dressed by HOUR Detroit Magazine in 2016 and featured on the magazine's cover.
Jan lives in Southfield, Michigan, and Wellington, Florida, with her husband, Dean. She has two adult sons, Brandon and Zachary Cunningham, and three grandsons, Harper, Brandon Jr., and Kobe. This is her first book.
